I received B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy from the Catholic University of Korea. I am currently a Master of Science student at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, working with Dr. Daniel Newman in the area of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.

Research Description

Leadership is one of the most important factors of a group's success, but not all people are perceived as leaders, and not all leaders are effective. I am interested in exploring the ways that people's personality traits and characteristics, such as gender and culture, influence their perceptions of leaders. Additionally, I am interested in how the traits of the perceiver interact with the traits of the leader.

Building Remodeling Projects

Click on the title to check out these pictures from the classroom remodeling project in the basement. A second project to replace the elevators will begin in September. Beginning with the freight elevator, each elevator will be out of service for three months. To get quickly from one floor to another, and improve your fitness, we will encourage the use of the stairs. The repainting of the northeast stairwell has been completed, and the painter is starting on the southwest stairwell.
